2016 Bio

PAULY ZARB has had a musical life since the age of 4. He has had a professional career in music for over 20 years. Originally from Australia, he has performed in many venues, festivals, theaters, concerts and schools and has toured extensively in Australia, America and now Europe. From the Tamworth Country music festivals in Australia, to the Kentucky Bourbon Festivals in USA to the Queens Jubilee in UK. Pauly is an international musician. After a 10 year stint based in Kentucky, Pauly is now currently based in Wokingham UK performing throughout England Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia.Playing for an enthusiastic European and Scandinavian audience.  

In Paulys solo show you will see a multi-instrumentalist playing piano and combining keyboards, guitar, kick drum, hi-hat, flute, pan pipes, tin whistles, accordion, harmonica, didgeridoo ... often all in the same song, creating a one man band experience. With a great diversity of instrumentation Pauly is a top class entertainer. 

Pauly is continuing to record, and his latest song “Healing the Feeling” has been reviewed by many top class musicians. They all love Paulys feel and style of music. Paulys music is spirited and uplifting and he is a dynamic performer with a lot of enthusiasm to life with the ongoing journey as a musician.

Achievements to date:

England 2014-2015: 2 x Pauly Zarbs International Street Concert Wokingham Town Council.

England 2012-2013: Queens Jubilee Wokingham Festival.

America 2003-2011: Awarded a proclamation from the Mayor and City of Bardstown for his 9 years of contributions towards Arts and Music in Bardstown K.Y with 9 x Pauly Zarbs International Street Concerts.

America 2010: The Australian Troubadour show, with fellow Australians Rick Price and Anthony Snape. Performed at the Guitar Master Series Concert at the Harden Performing Arts, Elizabethtown Ky. The Jazz Lab in Edmond Oklahoma City, and the Pauly Zarb Bardstown Street Concert 

America 2015-2004: Member of the Antsy Mc Clain and the Trailer park Troubadours. Performed at Festivals and Theaters, in California, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Nashville, Kentucky, Idaho, Arizona, and recorded on albums "Time Sweetened Lies" and “Heroes Last for Ever". 

America 2004: Performed with Pat Kirtley (1999 Finger style Guitar Champion), at the Chet Atkins Convention Nashville and recorded an Album in 2004 "Contrast.   The track African Groove was played on Jazz radio on Clear Channel Radio Stations

Australia 2004-2000: The Matt and Pauly Zarb duo. He and his brother Matt received the Best Folk Album award at the Queensland Sunny Music Awards in Australia 2001 for the Album “Vincent Rd".
